I woke up and got ready for the walking. I went for walk 3 today I think. I was a bit unsure about how fit I would be, and my left foot has been a bit sore ever since April when I walked around Europe.
We came to Wales in two large vans and a few cars. So the different groups went to the start of their walk separately. The guy who drove our car drove really fast and it was a bit scary actually. He was trying to impress us, but I would have been more impressed to arrive alive.
We went for the walk.

| We were going to swim in this lake. |
| I asked the other guys if they'd mind if I just got down to my underwear. They didn't mind. We went for it. There were two other guys in there but they got out pretty quickly for some reason. It was actually kind of warm. I think it might have been a comparison to the beach at Cornwall from the past few days. I could have stayed in, but the others had gotten out and it was raining. |

| feeling really warm now in comparison. |
| Then it started to hail. |
| This guy is trying to get himself dry while hail is hitting him. |
| It's hailing and raining heavily. 4 minutes ago I was in the lake. |
| At the summit. |
| Lots of downhill. |

We went back to the hostel. Then some people started a bbq. People had brought beer that we could buy from them for a good price. So I drank a little bit. But they left it out on the bench and it got warm. Crazy English people. So I didn't drink that much. I ate quite a bit of the bbq stuff. But English bbqs are quite weird. Instead of ordinary bread, they have small buns to put the sausages in... Also they don't have beef sausages. No beef sausages at all. Only pork and some other meet. It's weird. I ate it because I was really hungry. People started a bon fire as well. We sat arond that for a while. It was alright. We also played this game called 'rounders'. It's kind of like baseball and apparently was the thing which baseball evolved from. You just have a small bat like a baseball bat, and then you hit a ball and run around and there are some rules about getting out and so on. We were fielding first. They put me behind the batter because I'm an Australian, and Australians are awesome at catching stuff. I was a bit nervous at first. But then I got into it. Just had to watch the ball as it came in. One guy just grazed the ball a bit, it carried on behind to me, and I caught it! He was out. I felt proud for Australia. Then later we swapped over teams so we were hitting. I was nervous at first, because I had the pride of Australia riding upon my shoulders. I missed the first few, then just grazed the next one, but made it around the bases. After that I had the eye in and I was hitting them over the crowd. It was good. But I didn't quite get a 'rounder'. So I didn't score any runs for our team. But we still won. It was good.
We hung around for a bit longer and then I went to bed.
