May 18th: Game Theory exam

This day I had an exam for the subject Game Theory. The previous day I learned the rest of the module. Actually I have only been to about 3-4 classes for this subject. This is not ideal, but it just happened that way. Thankfully there is really not much in this subject, and the reason that I didn't go to many classes, is because in the few classes that I went to, the lecturer spent the full 50 minutes going through one tree diagram, examining each node and stating what the algorithm will do, and forgetting that actually the algorithm does the exact same thing at each of the 20 nodes in the tree.

So I learnt about one third of the course in the day before this exam. It was quite interesting. There is a game called Nim which a lot of games can be generalised to I think, and you can analyse the game very deeply and determine exactly who should win. I will need to look into this more later.

It was good that I looked up this stuff because it came up on the exam. I think I did pretty well on the exam. The exam is worth 100% so that was good. I was very happy after having completed this exam. The next one is about 6 days later I think.
