Friday 4th February. Wollaton Park.

On Fridays I don't have any lessons. So I decided I should do something. Wollaton Park is a big open area right across the road from where I live basically, so I decided that would be a nice casual thing to check out.

It was very windy this day.

A slightly better view out the window. I'm looking up a museum they have in the city York (Jorvik in viking language).

Yawn...

Entrance to the park. Keep the gate closed or else the deer will escape apparently.

It was very windy.

They have a nice big house in this park.

I think this is where the workers for the house lived. It's a cafe now.

Free entry. Hooray!

Inside they had a lot of stuffed animals.

Stuffed otter.

The deer, sitting down on the golf course. I don't think I'm supposed to walk on there, so the view is from a distance.

This big deer decided to run over near me.
The house was pretty good. I'm not that into stuffed animals but it was okay. On the ground floor they had some rooms recreated in various ways. They had an old organ on the first floor. Apparently Handel might have played it since he was friends with these people and stayed with them for quite a while.

After thik I went home, did some linear analysis homework and then had a great sleep.

  1. Did the benches fall over in the wind do you think? Your wind blown face is hilarious. :) And cute. Poor ottery otter! :( He doesn't look right at all. That house is amazing externally!

  2. Wow, that's awesome. I love the outside of the house. I'm with you on the stuffed animals though - I could do very well without.
