I walked to the city, found one store, and tried on the cheaper pair of boots. They didn't fit that well and people say they get really hot in warmer climates, so I decided they weren't for me. I tried on some Berghaus ones that got good reviews. They fit really well, have good material so they'll be good for hot climates as well, and they looked better than the snowboots from yesterday. So I bought them. I also got some warm socks and waterproof pants. That was pretty much me done, so I walked back. I walked back a different route. I'm starting to understand the layout of the city now.

| On the way to the city I found this thing I saw on google earth. "the garden steps" I think it is. |
| I made it up the steps. Hooray! |
I made a rush home. I was quite tired when I got back and I had a lot to do to prepare for tomorrow when I'm going to York. I'm also hoping that I'll be ready for Finland. I tried on my finland clothes:

Paolo and I met later, then walked to the cinema. Paolo and I talked about pasta and other stuff. At the cinema we met Matthias, Frederic, and a guy and a girl from... England!
The movie we saw was Black Swan. It's by director Darren Aronofsky. I really like this director. He has made very good movies in the past. So I was excited to see this one.
The movie was great. Several abstract references to things, and a great construction of the film. I think this film was subtlely brilliant. On the walk home Paolo and I discussed the movie. Paolo really likes movies so it was fun talking about it. He didn't really like the film because he thought Natalie Portman was a bad actor in it, and I think he might have found some scenes a bit over the top. However he thought the way it was made was very good.
I got home and it was quite late. I still had to wash clothes for York tomorrow. I didn't have any change to do it earlier. I also had to pack my stuff for York. I ended up getting to bed at 2am or so. I had to wake up at 7 I think.
